Bank accounts disappeared from Google Pay app, many users complained

Google Pay users are suddenly facing a problem in India. Many Google Pay users have complained about bank accounts suddenly disappearing from the app, due to which users are not able to do any kind of transaction. Users say that their bank account has disappeared from their profile in the app. This problem has not been reported on a large scale, but it seems from the social media platform that this problem has happened with many users. Google Pay is one of the widely used payment apps in India. According to the data till September last year, Google Pay had more than 6 crore 70 lakh active users in India. Apart from this, Google Pay is also considered to be the most helpful app in promoting digital payments based on UPI in India.

According to the report made by users on Twitter, the bank account details of the users suddenly disappeared in the Google Pay app and the app is not even giving the users a chance to reactivate their bank account. Many users have also reported that instead of showing the list of banks while adding a bank account, the app is only giving them the option of State Bank of India bank.

2 bank accounts in my @GooglePay accounts were automatically deleted.
Now, I thought it could be a glitch and reinstalled the app. It doesn’t even allow for verification.

At present, it is not known whether this problem is occurring only in the Android version of Google Pay or it has affected iPhone users also. Even in the team of Gadgets 360, not all users have faced this problem. However, a similar problem has been seen in the Google Pay accounts of some users of the team.
