BMW IX 2025 facelift Electric SUV Unveiled 701 km range 250 kmph top speed specifications features features availability
BMW has introduced 2025 IX facelift electric SUV for global market. It is also expected to step into India after its launch in the markets of America and Europe. After the launch, it will replace the IX model being sold from 2023 in India. The price of the facelift model is yet to be revealed, but the current IX is sold in India at an initial price of Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom).
2025 BMW IX Specifications
2025 BMW IX facelift electric SUV has been introduced in three options of battery pack – 94.8 kwh, 108.9 kwh and 109.1 kwh. The BMW says that the introduction of the new battery pack has helped the IX get about 25 percent more range than before. The vehicle will be able to walk between 602 kilometers to 701 kilometers in single charge based on the battery pack of the electric SUV. For comparison, let us know that the XDRIVE50 variant of IX being sold in India from 2023 claims to give a maximum range of 635 km.
The entry-level variant of BMW facelift will now be able to generate 402 bhp power and 700 Nm peak torque. Mid-variant 536 bhp power and 765 Nm of torque, while top-end M70 XDRIVE variant can produce 1,100 Nm peak torque thanks to the power of 650 bhp and its launch control feature. The top-end variant claims to catch a speed of 0–100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and provides electronically limited top-speed of up to 250 kmph.
IX facelift electric SUV’s mid and top-end variants now support charging capacity up to 195 kW using DC fast chargers. The entry-level variant supports fast charging up to 175 kwh.
