BMW S 1000 XR Price in India Rs 22.50 Lakh Launched 253 Kmph Top Speed 4 Cylinder Engine Specifications Details
The price of the new BMW S 1000 XR in India has been kept at Rs 22.50 lakh (ex-showroom). As we mentioned, the new model is being brought to India via CBU route. It can be booked at all BMW Motorrad India-authorized dealerships. The new model is available in three color options – Blackstorm Metallic, GravityBlue Metallic with Style Sports and Lightwhite Solid Paint/Motorsport with M Package.
The new BMW S 1000 XR gets a long standard equipment list, which includes the Touring and Dynamic packages. Both of these packages allow riders to include the right equipment for long trips. Its seat has been given a completely new design. The front fairing and lighting system have got sharp edges. The windshield can also be adjusted. Seat height has become 850 mm, which can be reduced with optional equipment. The rear now gets new motorsports-inspired side panels and air intakes, giving it a more dynamic look.
The BMW S 1000 XR is powered by a new in-line 4-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 170 HP of maximum power and 114Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle claims to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.25 seconds and its top speed is said to be 253 kmph.
DRL is also included in its package. Keyless riding and a 12 Ah capacity battery are now standard features. Additionally, the motorcycle comes equipped with USB charging option as standard. At the same time, the optimized Shift Assistant Pro in the new model ensures even greater precision while shifting gears.
