Bollywood’s outspoken actress Kangana Ranaut returns to Twitter after two years

Kangana Ranaut, who has shown her acting skills in some hit Bollywood films, has returned to the microblogging site Twitter after almost two years. Twitter had banned Kangana’s account after she posted controversial content after the West Bengal assembly elections.

His account had repeatedly violated Twitter’s policies related to hate content and harassing behavior. After Trinamool Congress won the assembly elections in West Bengal for the third consecutive time, violence had broken out in some parts of the state. After this, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress accused BJP for violence and arson, while BJP held Trinamool Congress responsible for it. During this time, Kangana had tweeted such a thing which indicated that she was requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ‘control’ West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

After returning to Twitter, Kangana tweeted on Tuesday, “Hello everyone, it feels good to be back here.” He also posted a video related to his upcoming film ‘Emergency’. This film is based on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana tweeted that the shooting of this film has been completed and it will be released in theaters in October. Kangana’s Twitter account has not received a blue tick.

At the end of last year, Kangana had given her support to the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk. Along with this, Kangana also had an interesting advice for getting verified blue tick on this micro blogging site. He had said that every Twitter user having Aadhaar card in India should get a verified blue tick. He had described Twitter as a better social media platform from the intellectual and ideological point of view. Kangana had said on Instagram, “I never understood the idea of verification for select people. It’s as if other people have no real presence. I will be verified but if my father wants a blue tick then Three to four jokers will reject his identity as if he is an illegal person. Every person holding an Aadhaar card should get a verified mark.”
