ByteDance, the Chinese company that created TikTok, has launched a new AI tool Jimeng AI in its home market. It offers the facility to create videos by writing text prompts. To explain in simple language, using Jimeng AI tool, users will be able to create videos by writing text. A similar feature is also available in OpenAI’s Sora, which generates videos from text prompts. ByteDance has developed Jimeng AI with the help of its subsidiary company Faceu Technology. It may take several attempts to get the desired result. The sharing option allows creations to be shared via a link or saved to your device.

Jimeng AI has become part of the growing market of AI video tools in China. It will compete with Kuaishou’s Kling AI and Zhipu AI’s Ying, which are available to users worldwide. Shengshu’s Vidu app has also been launched recently with similar features.
