Chandrayaan-3 Launch to Make India Fourth Country to Land Spacecraft on Moon

The country’s moon mission Chandrayaan-3 is to be launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh this week. With this, India will become the fourth country to land its spacecraft on the surface of the Moon. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has almost completed preparations for the launch of Chandrayaan-3.

Minister of State for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh said that some agreements related to space have been made during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to America last month. He said that to go to the moon Campaign India cannot lag behind. Singh said Chandrayaan-3 aims to demonstrate the country’s capability of landing and roving on the lunar surface. In a press release issued by the ministry, Singh said, “The rover will come out after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar surface and is expected to operate on the moon for 14 days. Images will be taken from multiple cameras on this rover. Will be able to go.”

ISRO has invited citizens to watch the launch of Chandrayaan-3 live from the launch view gallery of SDSC-SHAR in Sriharikota. For this you will have to register at lvg.shar.gov.in/VSCREGISTRATIO. ISRO has said, “Electrical tests of the vehicle have been completed. Citizens are invited to watch the launch from the launch view gallery of SDSC-SHAR in Sriharikota. For this, one has to register at.” Earlier, ISRO Director, S Somanath had said that Chandrayaan-3 will be launched on July 14 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. He had said, “If everything goes well, Chandrayaan will land on August 23. This date has been decided on the basis of sunrise on the moon. However, if it is delayed, the landing will have to be kept in September.”

Chandrayaan-2, the country’s second mission to the Moon, was launched about four years ago. However, this mission failed due to the crash of Vikram Lunar Lander on the Moon. ISRO has decided not to rush into the Gaganyaan project. This is a mission with passengers in space. This mission has been designed in such a way that it will be successful in the first attempt itself. For this, testing and demonstration have been increased.
