The passing of the day means the night is getting darker
Sunlight is still reaching the south pole of the Moon. Despite this there is no movement in Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover. In the next few days, the night will become darker again in this area of the moon. There will be darkness there for about 14 days and the temperature will once again go down to minus 200 degrees. In those circumstances, there is no hope of getting signal from Vikram and Pragyan.
Vikram-Pragyan are in sleep mode since 2nd September
Vikram and Pragyan rovers are in sleep mode since September 2. Both of them have experienced a long night and freezing temperatures on the Moon. Then the same situation is going to return and if communication is not established in the next few days, then the hope of getting further signal may be lost.
ISRO scientists have been trying to communicate with Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover present at Shiv Shakti Point for the past several days, but have not been successful in this work. According to reports, night is going to start in this area of the moon from September 30.
Chandrayaan-3 mission has been successful for India and it has proved all its capabilities.
