China creates first refrigerator for quantum chips used to ensure smooth operation
China has become the first country in the world to prepare a refrigerator for the smooth operation of a quantum chip. It has been created by a company called Origin Quantum Computing Technology. Global Times Report According to , it is said that a very complex process is used to manufacture the quantum chip. Because in quantum chip manufacturing, the environment around the chip, temperature, surrounding noise, vibration, electromagnetic waves and even very fine particles floating in the air also have an impact.
The Quantum Chip refrigerator simplifies chip maintenance. According to the report, this refrigerator actually works like a high vacuum box. It has three chambers for storage and all three can be controlled separately. A smart system is installed in these chambers which maintains a high vacuum state inside the chamber.
This refrigerator holds great importance because quantum chips are made using superconductor material. This material has to be kept in a certain environment. If such an environment is not maintained strictly, then they react very quickly chemically with the oxygen and moisture present in the air. After which many types of impurities are found in them. The result is that the main components of the chip do not burn properly and the chip will not function properly.
Quantum chips are used in quantum computers which work like the brain of the computer. Quantum computers work smarter and faster than ordinary computers. Recently, China has also joined those countries which have started manufacturing quantum computers.
