China will make 3D printing bricks from moon soil this is the plan

Space agencies around the world are sending missions to the Moon. American space agency NASA has proposed many flights in the future in the form of Artemis Mission. China is also sending missions one after the other to the Moon. His preparation seems to be two steps ahead of others. If reports are to be believed, China is going to test bricks made of lunar soil to build its permanent base on the Moon, far away from the Earth. of China Science Daily Report According to, at a conference held in Wuhan, China this week, scientists confirmed that they are preparing to 3D print bricks using materials found on the lunar surface.

According to reports, steps can be taken in this direction during the Chang’e 8 mission. This mission can land on the Moon around the year 2028. Through this mission, China can test the material present on the surface of the moon i.e. soil etc. Testing can be done to see how useful the lunar soil is for making a permanent base there.
According to the report, ‘Ding Liyun’, a scientist from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, has introduced a robot prototype which has 6 legs. It is being said that this robot is capable of putting printed bricks together. If this technology works, then it will become easier for China to build the International Lunar Research Station (ILRS). China plans to build ILRS in the 2030s.

South China Morning Post Report It has been told that for the first time a conference was held in China on the topic of how to prepare a permanent base for humans on the Moon. However, China is not alone in working on such missions related to space. The European Space Agency is also working on making such bricks that can be used outside the Earth.
