According to Space.com, astronomically autumn has begun in the Northern Hemisphere and spring has begun in the Southern Hemisphere. The report says that the Sun is now shifting towards the southern hemisphere of the Earth with direct light. For the last 6 months, there was direct sunlight on the northern part of our planet.
The report says that for most of the year the Earth’s axis is tilted either towards the Sun or away from it. This means that the northern and southern parts of our planet receive different levels of light from the Sun. However, sunlight reaches both hemispheres equally.
Talking about the Indian subcontinent, the monsoon will now gradually start bidding farewell from the northern part of the country. After the second week of October, a slight change in the weather will start appearing.
