The name of this rocket is Zhuque-2, which was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Wednesday. After this success, Landspace has become the first aerospace company in the world to launch a methane based rocket.

The launch on Wednesday was the company’s second attempt. He had also launched it in December last year, which failed. Methane powered rockets could make future space missions affordable. Their capacity is high and cost is low. Methane can also be produced in space.

Methane is also useful in rockets that are used repeatedly. SpaceX has been trying to fly a methane powered rocket for some time, but has not been successful. Now China’s Landspace has made this record in its name.
