Elon Musk spaceX Starship Rocket launch test scheduled for 10th April says Reports

Elon Musk’s company SpaceX is preparing for the launch test of its new rocket ‘Starship’. It is said to be one of the heaviest and most expensive rockets in the world. According to reports, the ‘Starship’ vehicle worth about $3 billion i.e. Rs 245 billion can take off from SpaceX’s site in Boca Chica, Texas on April 10. If this is really so, then only 5 days are left for the launch test of ‘Starship’. It is believed that one day humans will travel to Mars only through Starship rocket.

Daily Mail quoted America’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) wrote It is said that on Monday, April 10, the Starship rocket will take off from SpaceX’s site in Boca Chica, Texas. However, Elon Musk’s company has not yet received the launch license for this. License can be given by Monday. Elon Musk has already said that there is a 50 percent chance of the Starship exploding during launch. He had said that the launch ‘will not be boring’.

If SpaceX is successful in its launch, then in future with the help of this rocket, humans and important equipment can be taken to the Moon and Mars. If this happens, humans will not be limited to just Earth but will become a multi-planetary species. According to the FAA, the primary estimated date for Starship’s orbital launch is April 10, while April 11 and 12 have also been set as backup dates.

Information related to the launch on Monday has been revealed by Reuters. The person who shared the information has asked not to reveal his name. Elon Musk had recently said that the launch would take place in the third week of April, but recent reports are claiming that the Starship rocket can take off even before that. Media reports say that SpaceX has not said anything on this.

Starship is a reusable rocket

According to reports, Starship is a reusable rocket. It mainly has two parts. The first is the passenger carry section, which will house the passengers, while the second is the super heavy rocket booster. Its length including the starship and booster is 394 feet (120 meters). While the weight is 50 lakh kg. According to the information, the Starship rocket is capable of generating a thrust of 16 million pounds (70 meganewtons). This is almost twice as much as NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.

How will the rocket be tested?

SpaceX has been testing the prototype of ‘Starship’ for a long time. A full orbital test flight of the Starship rocket is yet to take place. Elon Musk and SpaceX were aiming to do it by 2022, which has been delayed. If the test flight is launched on April 10, it will be something like this.

The ‘Super Heavy Booster’ will separate from the starship immediately after launch. It will land at a base built in the ocean 20 miles away from the launch site. At the same time, the flight of the Starship rocket will continue. The approximately 90-minute spaceflight will land in the Pacific Ocean about 60 miles northwest of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands. If the launch is successful, Starship will not be the only rocket. The company is working on plans to make many such rockets.
