Fastag Rule Changed How to Check Blacklist Status and Balance

Fastag is an electronic toll collection system that allows cashless payment on toll plazas. This linked bank account, prepaid wallet or payment app uses the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to cut toll charge automatically. Fastag sticker is pasted on the windshield of the vehicle. When the vehicle reaches near the toll booth, the RFID sensor scans the tag and charge from the linked account. After this the barrier opens, which removes the vehicle.
Fastags new rule
The transaction will be rejected if the fastags are blacklisted, placed on the hotelist, or as a low balance for more than 60 minutes before reaching the toll booth. If a fastag remains blacklisted for 10 minutes after a scan, the payment will also be rejected. If all conditions are met, the system will reject the transaction with the error code 176. A double charge of toll charge will be charged as a punishment from the vehicle.
Users now have 70 minutes before reaching the toll booth to improve their fastag status. If the fastag is recharged within 10 minutes of the transaction effort, users can find penalty for return and only pay standard toll charge. If toll transactions are processed after more than 15 minutes of passing through toll reader, users may face additional charge.
