Find how much it will cost you, how expensive is it to use Reliance Jio now? know

Reliance Jio has made changes in its prepaid and postpaid tariff plans as promised. The new plans have also come into effect from October 19. Now many questions might be arising in your mind. Has Jio once again introduced cheap plans? Have the plans become expensive? After looking at the plan at first glance, it would be said that now the customers are not getting as much benefit as before. But the new Jio prepaid and postpaid plans are as affordable as before compared to other telecom companies. How much impact will the changes made in Reliance Jio’s plans have on your wallet? Let us answer this question.

Let’s start with prepaid plans. The company has been trying to ensure that there is no tampering with the price of the plan. However, the validity of many recharge plans has reduced and in some, 4G data will be less than before. First of all, take the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer of Rs 399. First, this plan comes with a validity of 84 days. But now its validity has become 70 days. There has been no change in the offers available with this plan. Even now customers will get unlimited data for daily use, only 1 GB data will be available in 4G speed. Unlimited calls and SMS facility continues.

The price of the old recharge pack of Rs 399 has now become Rs 459. That means now you will have to spend Rs 60 more. In Jio plan, customers will get 1 GB 4G data every day for 84 days. Along with this, the facility of free phone calls will also continue. You will continue to get the benefits of free SMS and free subscription to all the company’s apps.

Earlier, in the Rs 309 Jio pack, 1 GB data was available every day for 56 days, but now it has not been included in the list of prepaid recharge. However, the user has the option to choose this pack while recharging.

In the Jio plan of Rs 999, now 60 GB data will be available instead of 90 GB. The validity of this plan is still 90 days and there has been no change in other offers. The same has been done with packs of Rs 1,999 and Rs 4,999. In the Rs 1,999 Jio plan, customers will now get 125 GB data instead of 155 GB, with a validity of 180 days. At the same time, in the plan of Rs 4,999, 350 GB data will be given instead of 380 GB. This plan comes with a validity of 360 days. These changes show that the company has not tampered with the price, only changed the 4G speed data.

If we look at the smaller recharge pack, customers will now get 150 MB data instead of 200 MB on recharge of Rs 19. Let us tell you that another big change has been made in the speed available to the customers after the 4G data limit in all data plans is over. Earlier, after the 4G data limit was reached, data was available at the speed of 128 Kbps. But now customers will get data at the speed of 64 Kbps.

It is not that customers have suffered only losses. The changes made in the tariff plan will be of great benefit to the users who choose the Rs 149 plan. Now these users will get 4 GB data instead of 2 GB for 28 days.

Now let us look at postpaid plans. Postpaid users may be shocked to know that the validity of all plans has been reduced. All postpaid plans of Jio now come with a validity of one billing cycle i.e. 30 days. Remember that earlier Reliance Jio postpaid customers had to pay a single bill for three months. However, every postpaid plan now comes with a security deposit and after the stipulated 4G speed data is exhausted, internet data will be available at 64 Kbps speed.

Talking about the plans, the Rs 309 plan is still included in the postpaid listing. In this plan, after making a security deposit of Rs 400, you get 30 GB data every day. Whereas in the Rs 409 pack, a deposit of Rs 500 will have to be made and the user will get 20 GB data without any daily limit.

In the Rs 509 plan, a total of 60 GB data is available at the rate of 2 GB per day and the security deposit is Rs 600. If you want 3 GB data every day, then you can buy a new plan of Rs 799 by depositing Rs 950. Jio’s most expensive postpaid plan is Rs 999 in which the user gets 60 GB data without any daily limit. The security deposit for this pack is Rs 1,150.
