When the camera score is tied, we have taken into account the overall performance of the phone and have prepared a list of five phones. We were satisfied with the photos taken even in low light. Videos can be recorded from the rear camera at 60 frames per second. Both cameras support 1080 pixel resolution video recording. In this way this camera is good for both photos and videos. It has optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash.
2. Asus Zenfone Max (2016)
The Asus ZenFone Max (2016) is priced under Rs 10,000 and its camera performance is better than many expensive smartphones in the Rs 15,000 range. Its primary camera is 13 megapixels and front camera is 5 megapixels. The cameras are equipped with dual-tone LED flash and laser autofocus. These cameras can record videos at 1080 pixel resolution at 30 frames per second. We praised its camera in our review, especially its macro shots.
3. Moto G4 Plus
The Moto G4 Plus is a great smartphone but there is room for some improvement in the photography department. The phone has a 16-megapixel camera equipped with phase detection autofocus and F/2.0 aperture. But its performance in low light was not very good. During the review, we found the performance of this camera to be good in daylight. We found that the camera was able to record good quality videos at 1080p resolution even in daylight or low-light conditions. We were also satisfied with the performance of the 5-megapixel selfie camera. Even though its camera is not the best in the Rs 15,000 range, it is good enough to be a part of the top 5 list. And this phone is also good.
4. Lenovo Vibe S1
Lenovo Vibe S1 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. And there is a dual-camera setup on the front. The sensor of one front camera is 8 megapixels and that of the other is 2 megapixels. Both cameras can record full-HD videos. During the review, we found that its camera is capable of taking crisp photos in any conditions. After the latest price cut, the Vibe S1 phone has become one of the best camera phones under Rs 15,000.
5. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 handset is one of the best smartphones in the range of Rs 10,000. Its better variant comes for Rs 11,999 which is equipped with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. We would recommend you to buy this version. Redmi Note 3 has a 16-megapixel rear camera with wide F/2.0 aperture. We had told you in the review that the color reproduction of the camera of this phone is good, but the pictures did not come out very sharp in low light. You will be able to record 1080 pixel videos with its camera.
These five best camera phones in the range of Rs 15,000 are for you. We have included in this list only those phones with which we spent some time and reviewed them. Apart from these phones, the camera of Oppo F1 (Review) is also excellent but its price is a little more than Rs 15,000. The cameras of Huawei Honor 5X and Coolpad Note 3 Plus are also good.
