Is the validity of Reliance Jio Prime membership one year?
When Mukesh Ambani introduced Jio Prime Membership in February this year, he said that by recharging Rs 99, Jio customers will get the benefit of free voice calls and more data at affordable rates for the coming one year. Jio Prime membership recharge is still available and is required to be recharged to avail the Jio Dhan Dhana offer. If you take Jio Prime membership today, it does not mean that the validity of Prime membership is till one year from today. Let us tell you that whenever you want to take Jio Prime subscription, its last date is 31st March 2018.

Are you also getting only 1 GB data every day after recharge of Rs 509?
Under Reliance Jio’s Happy New Year offer, the company was giving 1 GB data at 4G speed every day for the customers to use. But Jio Prime customers who have not been ported to the new Jio Summer Surprise or Dhan Dhana Dhan offer are getting only 1 GB data per day despite recharging with Rs 499 or Rs 509. Gadgets 360 also spoke to a Reliance Jio customer care center official in this regard. Information was received from here that something like this is happening with the customers, because the company has not been able to migrate the customers completely yet.

Recharge was done in Summer Surprise offer, now when will the next recharge be done?
There is a misconception regarding Jio Summer Surprise Offer that its benefit will be available only till 30th June 2017. After talking to the Reliance Jio customer care center, Gadgets 360 learned that Reliance Jio’s Happy New offer was valid till April 15, 2017. After this the Summer Surprise Offer was formally implemented. The company has provided free services for three months to customers who recharge during the offer period. And the pack of Rs 303 will be implemented after completion of three months. In this pack, customers will get unlimited data (1 GB data at 4G speed every day) with free voice calls for 28 days. If we calculate the validity date of the offer, we find that the customers with this offer will probably have to do the next recharge in the month of August.

Till now I have not recharged my Jio number even once, is there still any solution?
Last time we spoke to an official from the Jio customer care center, we were told that services of users who have not yet recharged their Jio numbers have started being discontinued. However, there were many customers who were availing the services of the company till the beginning of May. The company is giving more opportunities to customers to recharge. But the opportunity may be banned any day. In such a situation, you still have the option to recharge. If you want, you can recharge from any plan. However, to avail the benefit of Jio Dhan Dhana offer, you will have to take Jio Prime subscription. Let us tell you that packs of Rs 309 and Rs 509 are common in Jio Dhan Dhana offer. And the validity of these plans is 84 days. At the same time, you also have a monthly plan of Rs 149 for which it is not necessary to have Prime subscription.

Is it necessary to have Jio Prime membership for free Jio apps subscription?
While launching the commercial service of Reliance Jio, Mukesh Ambani had said that we will give free subscription of all Jio apps to our customers for one year, i.e. 31 December 2017. However, at that time customers had the facility of Happy New Year offer. After this came Jio Prime membership and some new offers. On the plan page of Jio’s website, it is clearly written that on recharging with non-prime plan of Rs 149, you will get subscription of Jio apps. However, this feature is not permanent. Reliance Jio customer care center official told us that currently the free subscription of the app is for everyone. But it is not permanent. It is possible that the company may stop free apps subscription with this pack next month itself. But on taking Jio Prime membership, the company has assured free Jio apps subscription till 31 March 2018.
