Flipkart launches Flipkart Health+ app, affordable medicines and health care products will be delivered to every home

Leading e-commerce platform Flipkart has launched the new Flipkart Health+ app under its digital healthcare platform. This app is aiming to provide service in more than 20 thousand pin codes in India. The company promises to provide good quality medicines through the app. According to Flipkart Health+, it has a network of over 500 sellers who have a network of registered pharmacists for dispensing medicines in the medical field. In 2021, the leading e-commerce company had acquired the majority stake in SastaSundar, an online pharmacy platform, which was later transformed into Flipkart Health+.

Facility will be available in remote areas

Talking about the launch, Prashant Jhaveri, CEO of Flipkart Health+, said, ‘Through Flipkart Health+, the company aims to solve the problem of making good quality medicines and health care products and services easily accessible to all people across the country. . This is especially important for remote areas such as villages which have been deprived of this facility till now. We want to leverage technology in a way that strengthens the health care ecosystem and is able to serve people better by making access to health services easier even for people living in villages and small towns of the country. Which will contribute towards making India healthy.

Flipkart Health+ Said that the company is working to make medicines and health care products easily available through sellers through the app. Flipkart Health+ is connecting with SastaSundar’s healthcare network across the country. As of now, SastaSundar.com will redirect users to the Flipkart Health+ homepage. In the coming months, the company plans to rope in third-party health service providers to provide other essential health services like teleconsultation and e-diagnostics to customers.

Talking about the availability of the app, currently this app is available for download only on Android platform. It is expected that soon this app may also be available for iOS users.
