So far this year, five major solar storms have occurred which have greatly increased the infrared radiation or heat in the Earth’s outer atmosphere. It is increasing in terawatt (TW). Heat has increased by 0.59 TW on January 15, 0.62 TW on February 16, 0.78 TW on February 27, 1.04 TW on March 24 and 1.02 TW on April 24.
