To solve this, Google is now using AI to help users avoid such narrow roads, especially for those driving cars.

The system estimates road width using satellite imagery, street view and other data. Adjusts routing algorithms to help drivers better navigate congested areas. This feature will initially be available in 8 cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai with plans for expansion.
