Google Pixel 9 Series May Get AI Call Notes Feature, Samsung Display

American technology company Google’s Pixel 9 series can be launched at the company’s event next month. This series may include Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. A new Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature called AI Call Notes can be provided in these smartphones.

Tipster Dylan Roussel posted a post on social media platform Post It has been claimed that the upcoming Pixel 9 series may have AI call notes feature. With this feature calls can be recorded and transcribed. Last year, Google added AI Summarize feature to the Recorder app of Pixel 8 series. In this feature, Gemini Nano AI model is used to process audio files and share their text transcription. Similar technology can be used in the company’s Pixel 9 series also.

Recently, Android Authority reported that the Pixel 9 series may have an OLED display from South Korean electronics company Samsung. Pixel 9 of this series can have full screen HDR of 1,800 nits. Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL can get HDR brightness of 2,050 nits. Pixel 9 Pro may have a 6.34 inch display. Pixel 8 Pro had a 6.71-inch screen. Google has also confirmed the launch of its new foldable smartphone Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Earlier, another report had said that ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor can be provided in Pixel 9 series. This could be Qualcomm’s 3D Sonic Gen 2 sensor. This sensor has also been used in Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra. The ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor is claimed to be faster and more accurate than optical sensors. However, this report does not mention which models of Google’s new smartphone series will have ultrasonic in-display. Manufacturing of Google’s Pixel 8 may start in the country soon. This smartphone was launched in October last year. Generally, the company’s smartphones are manufactured in China and Vietnam.
