Quiet Black, Very Silver and ‘Limited Edition’ Really Blue color variants have been launched in the international market of Google Pixel smartphone. Only two color variants of these smartphones have been listed in India. This indicates that the Really Blue color variant will not be available in India. Regarding these smartphones made under the Google brand, it has been clearly stated on the website that Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL smartphones will be available for pre-order in India from October 13 in Quiet Black and Very Silver colors.
The retail box with the Pixel smartphone will include a USB Type-C cable for charging, a quick switch adapter and a quick guide from Google.
The company claims that it is equipped with the highest rated camera ever. In support of this claim, the company has mentioned the 89 DXOMark Mobile score received by its camera. Both smartphones have an 8-megapixel front camera with Sony IMX179 sensor, aperture F/2.4 and 1.4 micron pixels.
Google has used quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor in both these handsets. It is available with 4 GB RAM. The processor will typically run at a clock speed of 1.6 GHz and a maximum clock speed of 2.15 GHz. It is worth noting that Snapdragon 821 is the strongest mobile processor to date. Online booking will be done through e-commerce site Flipkart. At the same time, for offline sales, Google has tied up with about 1,000 retail stores including Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales. The company has said that the price of this handset will start from Rs 57,000. This price will be for the variant with 5 inch display.
