Google suspends Gemini chatbot ability to generate pictures of people
Google has removed the photo-making capability of its Gemini AI chatbot. However, this is a temporary change. Google is improving it, after which this feature can be used again. Google said in the post that they are working on the shortcomings in Gemini’s image generation feature. They will fix it and are currently blocking the feature that generates images of people. Soon they will launch its better version. According to the report, a user asked Gemini AI to generate a photo of a German soldier of 1943. Initially Gemini refused but then the user tried again by changing the language. In the second attempt, Gemini made photographs but they were made incorrectly.
Gemini generated many types of photos for the user, which contained pictures of people of different colors. The user had also posted these photos on social media platform X. Questions started arising regarding this that AI can generate images incorrectly which is not good for history. It can be tampered with and introduced. Google is now talking about improving it and presenting a better version.
