How different are Poco F2 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro from each other?

Poco F2 Pro smartphone was launched on Tuesday with top specifications like Snapdragon 865 processor and 64 megapixel primary camera. The phone seems to be inspired by the Redmi K30 Pro, which was launched in China earlier this year. Both the phones are similar to a great extent and there are some things which make these two phones different from each other. Both these smartphones have 4,700 mAh battery and 30 watt fast charging support. Even both the phones have a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. We have tried to know by placing the recently launched Poco F2 Pro with Redmi K30 Pro, what is the difference between these two phones.

Poco F2 Pro vs Redmi K30 Pro: Price

poco f2 pro The starting price is EUR 499 (about Rs 41,500). This price is for 6 GB + 128 GB storage variant. Its 8 GB + 256 GB storage variant will be sold for EUR 599 (about Rs 50,000). There are four color variants of this phone – Cyber ​​Grey, Electric Purple, Neon Blue and Phantom White.

Redmi K30 Pro The price starts at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 32,500). This price is for 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The 8 GB + 128 GB model of the phone will be sold for 3,399 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 36,000). The premium 8 GB + 256 GB variant of the handset will be priced at CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 40,000). This handset is available in Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Star Ring Purple and Space Grey.

Poco F2 Pro vs Redmi K30 Pro: Specifications

Talking about specifications, both Poco F2 Pro and Redmi K30 phones are almost the same. The dual-SIM (Nano) Poco F2 Pro runs on Android 10 based MIUI for Poco. Whereas, Redmi K30 Pro works on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. MIUI for Poco comes with its own Poco launcher, while MIUI 11 comes via MIUI 11 launcher. Both phones have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) HDR+ AMOLED display, whose aspect ratio is 20:9.

Both the smartphones are provided with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM options. Internal storage is provided up to 256 GB, in which micro SD support is also available.

For photography, both Poco F2 Pro and Redmi K30 come with quad camera setup, in which the primary camera is 64 megapixels. Sony IMX686 sensor has been used here, it has been provided with optical image stabilization. The remaining cameras of Poco F2 Pro include a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, which gives a 123-degree field of view, a 5-megapixel telemacro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, Redmi K30 Pro has a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel macro camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfie, both the phones have a 20-megapixel pop-up camera.

Apart from all this, both the phones will have a 4,700 mAh battery, which will have 33 watt fast charging support. Connectivity includes dual mode 5G (NSA SA), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone. In-display fingerprint scanner is also provided in both the phones.
