Jio network users can easily activate ISD service to make international calls on their Jio numbers. Different call rates are charged for this. However, a dedicated ISD pack has also been created for Jio customers for ISD calling. Through this, you are given a few minutes to make calls outside the country. Along with this, this telecom operator also gives its users the facility to send ISD SMS. Jio claims to provide ISD service in 14000 area codes of 230 countries.

How to activate ISD on Jio

Jio A Global ISD Combo Pack of Rs 501 is available on the BSNL plan. It is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. On recharging with this plan, customers can make ISD calls by adding + before the number along with the area code of the destination.

Jio ISD pack offers talktime of Rs 424.58 which is valid for 28 days. This is given for making ISD calls and SMS. Under this, consumers are given a discount of 5 ISD SMS which they can make within 28 days.

For each destination country on the Jio site Tariff Information is given. If you send ISD SMS then the operator charges Rs 5 per message.
Global ISD Combo Pack is available for prepaid customers just like other regular packs. It gets activated as soon as you dial an international phone number after recharge. Whereas for postpaid customers, it comes with the monthly bill.

Both postpaid and prepaid customers can activate these packs through the MyJio app. Apart from this, the facility is also available on the Jio.com site. If you have a Jio Fiber connection, you can make ISD calls with the Rs 501 pack. This is available for Jio Fiber customers on the MyJio app and Jio.com site. There is a Rs 502 ISD plan on Jio Fiber that offers 1500 minutes of calling to the US and Canada with a validity of 30 days.
