Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has shared important information related to its Young Scientist Programme. School children will be able to register for this program from February 20. The objective of this program is to motivate students to make careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics STEM related fields. The last date for application has been kept as 20th March.

According to ISRO, students of class 9 (till January 1, 2024) studying in India are eligible for this. To register, follow this link- Click on jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/yuvika Can do.
This program will run for two weeks. According to PTI report, ISRO has designed this program to attract young students. Through the program, students will be encouraged to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based research.
Follow these steps for registration
- Visit ISRO’s Space Curiosity Platform jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/registration.
- After registration, a verification link will come on your registered e-mail, click on it to confirm the e-mail.
- After this you have to participate in a space quiz.
- Complete your personal profile and fill in educational details.
- Students will have to get their certificates photocopied and attached to the Principal or Head of School.
- Scan the attested certificates and upload them on the website. After that submit the application.
