How to do mobile recharge on Google Pay

Before I give you the steps, make sure that if you have never used Google Pay, you can try this app. Google Play or else App Store Download it from. After this, register yourself on the app, which is a very easy method. This app will ask for your mobile number for registration and then verify it through OTP. Prepaid customers of Jio, Vi (Vodafone Idea), Airtel, MTNL or BSNL can avail free mobile recharge through this app. Follow these steps for recharge-

Step 1 – Download the Google Pay app and register yourself following the steps on the screen.

Step 2 – Grant the required permissions for a seamless experience in the app.

Step 3 – After registration, go to the People section on the homepage.

Fourth Step- Now click on Mobile Recharge and type the mobile number which you want to recharge.

Step 5 – You can also access your contact list for recharge.

Step 6- After the number is linked, you will be given recharge plan suggestions. If you have recharged earlier through the app, you will be shown your old recharge history in the For You tab.

Seventh Step- Now choose the plan for which you want to recharge. After choosing the plan, it will be the turn of payment. If you are a first time user, then you will have to add your bank account details in the app. These details will be filled only once and then it will be connected to your app for transaction.

Eighth Step- To fill in the bank details, you must have a debit or credit card. Now fill in the bank details in the app by completing the steps shown on the screen, which also includes creating a UPI PIN.

Step 9: After filling in your bank details, pay for your mobile recharge plan. Google Pay will ask you for your UPI PIN, which you must have created while filling in your bank details.

Tenth Step – After entering the UPI PIN, your recharge will be completed successfully, confirmation of which will be received on your phone through the recharge SMS and the SMS of money deducted from your bank account.
