How to send money using BHIM app on Aadhaar number

With its help, you will be able to send money directly to any person’s Aadhaar number. And this will be possible through the Bhima app. This will prove to be very useful for those users who do not have a virtual payment address for UPI. That means you will get rid of the account number and the bank’s IFSC code. To send money to the Aadhaar number through the Bhima app, some important things need to be kept in mind.

First of all, the Aadhaar number of the person to whom you are sending money should be linked to the bank account. If this is not the case, then you will not be able to send money through Aadhaar number. Secondly, the BHIM app does not show the name of the account holder due to privacy and security reasons, so before sending money, make sure that you have entered the correct Aadhaar number.

How to send money to Aadhaar number through BHIM app

1. Open the BHIM app on your phone.
2. Tap on Send Money.
3. Tap on the three dots visible on the top right. After this, select Aadhaar Pay.
4. After this enter the Aadhaar number to which the money is to be sent.
5. Now tap on Verify. Here it is checked whether that Aadhaar number is linked to any bank account or not.
6. Next you will see the Aadhaar number of that person. You should double check it because the name of the account holder will not be visible.
7. After this, enter the transfer amount. And also tell the reason for payment.
8. Now tap on Pay.
In this way, you will be able to send money to any Aadhaar number through BHIM app.
