How to turn off birthday, live video and other notifications on Facebook
Facebook S is a place where many notifications are available. However, these push notifications can be easily disabled on smartphones. If you are having trouble specifically with Facebook, follow these steps.

If you’re using the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad, here’s how to stop annoying Facebook notifications.
- open facebook app
- Tap on the ‘More’ button at the bottom right
- Tap Settings and go to Account Settings.
- Tap on Notifications. Here you can get rid of notifications like birthday reminder and live video.
Follow these steps to disable notifications on Facebook app on Android
- open facebook app
- Tap the three horizontal lines at the top
- Tap Account Settings
- Now tap on notifications and disable the ones you don’t want to see.
on pc
- To get rid of notifications from apps and games (like Candy Crush Saga or 8 Ball Pool), Facebook app settings page Go to. For this you will have to sign in to your Facebook page.
- Go to Game & App Notifications and click Edit.
- Now click on Turn Off.
- If someone is constantly spamming you with app invites, you Blocking Settings Page Go to and type its name in Block App Invite.
- Apart from this, to disable notifications like birthday reminder, go to Facebook’s Notification settings page Go to.
- Click on the button near Birthday and then click off. This will disable birthday notifications received on Facebook. Please note that you will still see the birthday reminder on your News Feed page, but you will not get any notification for it.
- You can turn them off by going to the same settings page and clicking on the button near ‘Other types of notifications’.
