Who can be an address verifier?
The address verifier can be a family member, friend, relative, landlord, anyone who lets you use your address as proof. The address can only be updated if you meet the following requirements:

1) Mobile numbers of both the resident and address verifier should be registered in their respective Aadhaar.
2) Both the resident and the address verifier will require a one-time-password (OTP).
3) After this OTP will come on your register number, enter OTP and log in.
4) After logging in, you will get the option to share verifier details. Here you have to enter the Aadhaar number of the address verifier.
5) Verifier will receive the link via SMS on their registered mobile number. After this the verifier will click on the link and then they will receive a second OTP message for verification. Verify by entering OTP and captcha.
6) After verification, you will receive service request number via SMS. After this, log in by entering the request number, preview the address, edit the local language (if necessary) and then click on the submit button.
7) After this you will get a letter, address validation letter with secret code will be posted at the verifier’s address.
8) After this, once again go to the UIDAI website and click on the Proceed to Update Address link. After this, log in by entering Aadhaar and then click on Update Address via Secret Code, here you will have to enter the secret code. Verify the new address and then click on the submit button.
