How to upload photos on Instagram from desktop or laptop

You must be using Facebook-owned photo-video sharing app Instagram. On the Instagram app, users get many features like photo-video upload and share, stories. But the features have been kept limited in the web version. In the web version, you can only see the photos and videos shared by your friends or say only those people whom you follow. Instagram is a popular app, there is no option on the web to upload photos or videos. This is the reason why one has to resort to the Instagram app to upload photos or videos. But not anymore, we are going to tell you a trick by trying which you will be able to upload photos in a jiffy through Instagram web as well.

If you also want to upload photos or videos from Instagram web, then first of all you should have the latest version of Google Chrome downloaded. Note, follow the steps mentioned by us only through Google Chrome. First of all, open Google Chrome on your computer or laptop. After this, go to www.instagram.com and log in the ID. After opening the ID, click on the three vertical dots visible on the top right.

After this, go to More tools and then click on Developers tools. If you want, you can also use the shortcut to open the developer tool, for this you have to press Ctrl+Shift+C together. After the developer option opens, you will see the Elements option at the top. You will see two icons on its left side, out of which you have to click on the first and second icons (cursor and toggle device toolbar). After this, reload the Instagram web page. After the page reloads, click on the ‘+’ visible below. After clicking on the + icon, select the photo you want to download. Add caption, location and tag people (if you want) in the post. After this, click on the share button visible on the top left.
