Hyundai Offering Discount its Models including Exter SUV

This includes a cash benefit of Rs 35,000, exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. It competes with Tata Motors’ Tiago and Maruti Suzuki’s Swift. The company has offered benefits worth Rs 45,000 on the i20. There is a discount of up to Rs 35,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. Benefits of up to Rs 35,000 are being given on its sub-compact SUV Venue. It competes with Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza and Tata Motors’ Nexon.
A discount of Rs 10,000 is being given on the company’s most affordable SUV Exter, launched in July last year. Exter competes with Tata Motors’ Punch, Nissan’s Magnite, Renault’s Kiger and Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx. Some features of this micro SUV have been given for the first time in this segment. It has six airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, parking sensors, central locking and high-speed alert as standard.
The company plans to launch hybrid cars in India by 2026. South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group has changed its strategy and started exploring possibilities beyond electric vehicles (EV). Hyundai Motor Group includes Hyundai Motor and Kia. Sources in the know had said that it is considering introducing a hybrid sports utility vehicle of similar size to its best-selling mid-size Creta SUV in India. Hyundai and Kia aim to launch hybrid SUVs in 2026 or 2027. Along with this, the plans of these companies regarding EV are also intact. Apart from petrol and diesel cars, both these automobile companies sell imported EVs like IONIQ 5 and EV6 in the country. They plan to introduce their first Made in India EV in 2025.
