IIT Bhu Record Placement Package RS 2.2 Crore Over 1100 Job Offers Till Date Across Top Global Companies

IIT BHU has achieved its highest placement package of Rs 2.2 crore per year in recent placement Schel, with the average package of 22.79 lakhs. By January 31, 2025, the institute has obtained 1,128 placement offers and 424 internship offers in sectors such as technology, consulting, finance and core engineering. Major companies include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, Amazon and Qualcomm. The placement campaign is still going on, in which more students are yet to get placement. Established in 1919, IIT BHU developed from Banaras Engineering College and became IIT in 2012.

NDTV’s UnderRecently, a student received a CTC package of Rs 2,2 crore per year at the placement session held in IIT BHU. This was the highest pazor for the institute so far. The average package to students is Rs 22,79,680.91 per year. The institute allegedly earned a total of 1,128 placement offers and 424 internship offers by 31 January 2025.

It is reported that placements have been organized in various types of sectors such as technology, core engineering, finance and consulting etc. Recent sessions include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Samsung, Oracle, Walmart, Qualcomm, Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, ITC etc. Not only this, the placement campaign is still going on.

The report further states that while sharing all the details regarding the placement, IIT (BHU) director, Professor Amit Patra said, “IIT (BHU) as a major institute to prepare professionals prepared for this year’s placement result industry. Strengthen the position of our students to attract top level recruitments for our students’ talent and educational and research excellence. “

In 2019, IIT BHU completed its 100 years. However, it was not IIT from the beginning, but it begins in 1909 Banaras Engineering College (Benco) was done.
