IIT Job Crisis 8000 Students Unplaced 2024 Amid Rising Unemployment

At the same time, the situation looks worse in the 14 new institutes of IIT. Of these, 5,100 students had registered. Out of which 2,040 (40%) could not get placement. IIT Kanpur alumnus and consultant Dheeraj Singh has shared this data on LinkedIn. Dheeraj has written that 33 percent students in IIT Kharagpur did not get jobs through placement.
