IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2024 Online Registration for Administrative Positions Salary up to Rs 2.16 Lakh How to Apply All Details

IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kanpur has started taking applications for Administrative and Technical Cadre Recruitment 2024. The last date for this has been kept as January 31, 2025. The salary for this recruitment is fixed from Rs 21,700 to Rs 2,16,600. Registration fee for Group A posts is Rs 1000 for General/OBC/EWS and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PH candidates, with exemption for women. Whereas, for Group B and C posts, the fee is Rs 700 for General/OBC/EWS and Rs 350 for SC/ST/PH candidates, in which women are also exempted. Available Positions

Superintending Engineer, Senior Superintending Engineer, Assistant Counselor, Hall Management Officer, Deputy Registrar, Executive Engineer, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Registrar (Library), Medical Officer, Assistant Security Officer (for women only), Assistant Sports Officer, Junior Technical Superintendent and Junior Assistant.

Registration Fee

For Group A posts, General, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay Rs 1000, while SC, ST and PH candidates will have to pay Rs 500. All female candidates of any category have been given complete exemption in fee.

Whereas for Group B and C posts, General, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay Rs 700, while SC, ST and PH candidates will have to pay Rs 350. Here also all women candidates will get complete relaxation.

The official notification states: “Please note that admission to the written test is purely provisional. Before appearing for the Job-Oriented Practical Test/Interview, candidates’ details may be verified with original certificates. Candidates will be allowed to proceed with the recruitment process. Failure to do so will make the candidate ineligible to continue further in the recruitment process.”
