Indian Railways Swarail App Launched Ticket Booking Food Ordering PNR Train Status Check More Features in Single Platform

The Ministry of Railways has launched the Swarail Super App in India as an integrated platform for railway service. The developed app by CRIS is available as beta testing for Android and iOS. This app brings many Indian railway apps to a platform, so that passengers can do work in single apps like train ticket booking as well as food ordering, platform ticket booking, PNR status check and testing of train status. This app also offers the facility to track parcels and freight. At the same time, passengers can reach ‘Rail Help’ for complaints through this. It also has a secure log-in option like M-Pin and Biometrics. Before it is evaluated by the Ministry of Railways and the final version is released, beta version is taking feedback from testers.

The Swarail app has been launched on beta testing. App for testing Google Play Store And the Apple App is available on the store. However, if you apply for it now, you will be put in the waiting list. The app has been developed by the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). It acts as a one-stop solution, where users will be able to use the service given by Indian Railways on various platforms on the same platform.

Passengers can reserve their seat in the train through Swarail, order to take food on their seat, check PNR or train status and inquire about parcels and freight. The app also provides facility to contact the ‘Rail Help’ of the Ministry of Railways for complaints and questions.

Currently, the Indian Railways offers various apps for ticket booking and interrogation about the activity and schedule of the train. However, this work will be the same place with the Swarail Super App.

Citing an example, the Ministry of Railways said that related information about the train will also be displayed in PNR Ankwaari. It provides single sign-on functionality, which enables users to reach all service with a set of credentials. They can also be used on other Indian Railway Apps like IRCTC Rail Context and UTS mobile app. Apart from this, users can also use their current rail connect or UTS app credentials to onboard the app.
