ISRO NASA to Launch Joint Mission to International Space Station 2024

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a state visit to America. Various agreements between the two countries are being finalized. Cooperation is also being established in the fields of science and space. According to senior US administration officials, America’s NASA and India’s space agency ISRO are developing a strategic framework for human space flight operations. A report also said that there is a plan to send an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS) by the year 2024, which revolves around the Earth from space 400 kilometers above the ground.

According to ANI, senior US government officials said that India is signing the Artemis agreement. Officials also said that NASA and ISRO are developing a strategic framework for human space flight operations this year. It is noteworthy that under Artemis Mission, NASA once again wants to send humans to the Moon. Various countries are being linked to this mission through the Artemis Agreement.

At the same time, according to PTI, US President Joe Biden said after the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi that India and America are preparing to send an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station by 2024. India is also working on its first human space mission ‘Gaganyaan’, which may be launched in late 2024 or early 2025.

Regarding India’s joining the Artemis Agreement, PM Modi said that we have taken a new step forward in space cooperation. He said that there are unlimited possibilities for working together between India and America.

In the field of semiconductor also, American companies are partnering to manufacture semiconductors in India. American chip company Micron Technology has said that it will set up a semiconductor plant in Gujarat and through this a total investment of $ 2.75 billion will be made. The company will invest $825 million on this plant to be developed in two phases. The remaining money and investment will be made by the central and state governments.
