ISRO successfully completed third orbit raising maneuver of Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft

As per the plan, Chandrayaan-3 was launched with the help of LVM-M4 rocket. Chandrayaan reached orbit 16 minutes after launch. As soon as this announcement was made at 2:52 pm, thunderous applause was heard at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. Chandrayaan-3 has now set out on a 42-day journey to the Moon.
It is noteworthy that in the year 2019, the lander of Chandrayaan-2 mission had crashed on the surface of the Moon. Soon after that, India started preparations for the third Moon mission. ISRO scientists were working day and night to make the mission successful for the last several months. This time, special care has been taken to ensure that there is no problem in the landing of Chandrayaan-3. Like Chandrayaan-2, the lander of Chandrayaan-3 has also been named Vikram.
The mission has been designed in such a way that it can be landed on the moon under any circumstances. On August 23, when the lander ‘Vikram’ will try to land on the lunar surface and if any problem arises, it can be landed at another place also. The objective of this mission is to successfully land on the Moon and prove the capabilities of walking there. So far, three countries – America, Soviet Union and China have been able to land their missions on the Moon.
