ISRO’s exploits in space! Launched its smallest rocket SSLVD2 with 550kg capacity! Know about it

ISRO has achieved feats in the field of space. The agency has successfully launched its smallest rocket SSLVD2. It was launched from Sriharikota Satish Dhawan Space Centre. Its specialty is that it was successful in sending many satellites into space and setting them in the Earth’s orbit in a short time. However, the first time it was attempted to be sent, it actually failed. Its first flight was tested in August 2022 which failed. At that time it was not able to set the satellite in the correct orbit.

SLV is generally used for satellite launches. It is called Satellite Launch Vehicle or SLV in short form. But on Friday ISRO launched SSLVD2. This small satellite launch vehicle has been made. of ANI Report According to ISRO, it has been made as the smallest rocket. It was sent to space at 9:18 am from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. After traveling for 15 minutes, it released three satellites into Earth’s orbit which were EOS-07, Janus-1 and AzaadiSAT-2.

Talking about these three satellites, EOS-07 has been made by ISRO itself and it weighs 156.3 kg. Janus-1 is made by an American company. This satellite is of 10.2kg. AzaadiSAT-2 has been built by a Chennai startup with the help of SpaceKidz scientists. This satellite weighs 8.7kg.

According to the report, Vinod, Director of Launch Mission at ISRO, said, congratulations to all the 3 satellite teams for building the rocket as well as launching them in the right orbit. We investigated and fixed issues with SSLVD1. This time we worked quickly on the rocket to launch it successfully.” The agency has developed SSLV with the aim of carrying payloads up to 550 kg to the lower orbit of the Earth.
