James Webb Space Telescope captures new Image of Uranus shows 11 rings 6 moons and more

From a scientific point of view, whenever we talk about the planets of our solar system, Mars, Venus or Jupiter emerge as the most favorite topics. Missions of space agencies of many countries are also focusing on these planets. But there is another planet in our solar system, which has attracted the attention of scientists. Whoever is seeing the new picture of Uranus is surprised. The world’s largest telescope deployed in space, the James Webb Space Telescope, has shared a stunning picture of Uranus. The rings of Uranus are also clearly visible in this.

Generally we think that the planet surrounded by rings is only Saturn. But the rings around Uranus make it more astonishing. So far, scientists know about 13 rings of Uranus. According to reports, 11 rings are visible in the picture taken by the James Webb Telescope. Some of these rings are so bright that they are merging with each other.

American space agency NASA Accordingthe bright area visible to the right of the planet is a bright pole facing the Sun, known as the polar cap. Interestingly, Uranus rotates at an angle of approximately 90 degrees to the plane of its orbit. Because of this, the planet’s poles receive sunlight for many years. Then the poles of Uranus remain in darkness for many years.

Uranus has not one but many moons and the James Webb Telescope has captured many of them on camera. Scientists know about 27 moons of Uranus. Most of them are very small and not visible. In the picture taken by James Webb, the planet’s six moons are also visible.

The most popular picture of Uranus appeared in 1986, when Voyager 2 presented it as a blue-green ball. The James Webb Telescope has given a different perspective to this planet. For the first time, the dynamic atmosphere and rings of this planet have been brought before the world. Scientists feel that in the coming time, all the rings of Uranus will be in front of us, with more information about them.
