‘Joker’ will hit Amazon Prime Video on April 20

You will soon be able to watch Joaquin Phoenix starrer film ‘Joker’ on your television set. The film will be available in India on Amazon Prime Video from April 20, information about which was given by Amazon Prime Video itself. The deal between Amazon and Warner Bros. earlier this month gave audiences the horror sequel ‘It Chapter Two’ and the monster sequel ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’. After this, ‘Joker’ will now be streamed in India. Let us tell you that only 6 months have passed since Joker was released. If you also do not want to miss the streaming of Joker on April 20, then you should also immediately take Amazon subscription, whose per month subscription is Rs 129 and annual subscription will be available for Rs 999.

Joker will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video next week. Apart from this, 6 other films of DC film will also be available on Amazon Prime Video, which include teen comedy film Shazam, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel. The films Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman: Down Under are also available on Disney+ Hotstar and Hooq. Just one DC movie, Justice League, is available only on Netflix.

DC’s latest film Birds of Prey was released last month on video on demand on platforms like Apple TV, Google Play and YouTube.

Joaquin Phoenix starrer Joker was officially released in India on 2 October. This film proved to be a huge hit at the box office, earning billions of dollars. It was America’s first ‘R’ rated film, received an ‘A’ certification in India and yet became the biggest hit of DC movies in India. Not only this, Joker also became the most nominated film at Oscars 2020, although the film received two awards. Joaquin Phoenix won Best Actor and Hildur Guðnadóttir won Best Original Score.

Joker is going to be streamed on Prime Video in India on Monday, April 20. There is a possibility that it will be streamed in English language only.
