Kinetic Engineering Ltd. Has made a strong comeback in India’s two-wheeler market. The company has launched the Old Classic DX design as DX EV and DX+ EV. These kinetic watts and volts ltd. (KWV) has been brought to India. The company has mixed the old DX iconic style, metal body, and strong design with new technology, smart features and futuristic touch in both scooters. DX+, especially the family and youth who were trying practical, stylish and super-relative electric scooters at the same time.

The ex-showroom (Pune) of the Kinetic DX EV is priced at Rs 1,11,499, while the DX+ variant has been kept at Rs 1,17,499. DX+ will be found in five colors (red, blue, white, silver, black), while DX only comes in silver and black.

The biggest feature of Kinetic DX EV is its strong metal body design, which fully recreate the iconic style of the classic DX. The scooter has a special 37-liter under-seat storage, which can easily be kept with a full and a half helmet with some daily accessories. The floorboard is also large and flat. According to the company, the scooter is designed in association with the Italian design team, which also provides modern touch with DX’s old feeling.

Talking about batteries and performance, Kinetic DX and DX+ have a 2.6kwh LFP battery (Range-X), for whose life has been claimed to be about 4 times more than 4 times (2,500-3,500 charged cycles) than scooters with NMC (Nill Magneys Cobalt) batteries. The DX+ variants can be run up to 116 km according to the IDC range on single charge, while the range of DX is stated to be 102 km. The company says that Kinetic’s K-Coast Regional Technology and 60V systems are behind this range. The motor pick is also famous in this segment – DX+ has a top speed of 90km/h and in DX, in both 80km/H, three ride modes such as range, power and turbo are available.

The DX EV for suspension and braking has front telescopic fork and rear adjustable shock absorbs. It has a combing-brakeing system by mixing 220mm front disc brake and 130mm rear drum brakes. Both variants have reverse assist and hill -old features.

Talking about connectivity and electronics features, the DX EV series is fully connected. “My Kiney Companion” Voice Alert Technology is provided with the scooter. The DX+ variant has a “Telekinetic” suit function that contains features like Geo-Fancing, Track My Kinetic, Find My Kinetic, INTRUDER Alert and Real Time Ride States. Both variants have dedicated Kinetic Assist switch, which provides direct CRM support through Bluetooth. It also has an in-milk speaker.

For charging, the DX+ variant has an innovative retractable charging cable with the Easy Charge feature, while DX has a portable charger. Both scooters have Easy Key (Ke-Less Operation), Easy Flip (One-Tech Pillion Footrest) and App connectivity.
