Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus use 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset. Adreno 405 GPU is integrated for graphics. 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor has been used in Moto G4 Play. Adreno 306 GPU is present for graphics.

In India, models of Moto G4 Plus are available with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM. At the same time, only 2 GB RAM model is available in Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play.
