LinkedIn Games Feature to Come Soon Rank Firms Based on Employees Scores All Details

LinkedIn, a job search and business networking platform, has now added a brand new feature to its platform. People can now play games while searching for a job on the Microsoft-owned platform. The decision follows LinkedIn becoming one of several social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube that have experimented with adding in-app games.

TechCrunch’s Report According to , LinkedIn is working on bringing several puzzle-based games to its app, three of which will be called “Blueprint”, “Queens” and “Crossclimb”. The social media platform confirmed its gaming plans to the publication, but did not reveal a launch window for the upcoming game.

“We’re looking at adding puzzle-based games within the LinkedIn experience to add some fun, deepen relationships, and increase conversation opportunities,” the report quoted a LinkedIn spokesperson as saying.

App researcher Nima Ouji also found evidence of in-app LinkedIn games, posting screenshots on X (formerly Twitter) that suggest companies on the platform would be ranked in the game based on their employees’ scores. The screenshots show three games – “Blueprint”, “Queens” and “Crossclimb”, which all appear to be puzzle-based games.

While LinkedIn has confirmed its plans to introduce games to its users, no information has been revealed yet about the number and genre of games available on the platform. Games could potentially be offered as part of a LinkedIn Premium subscription.

Earlier this month, LinkedIn released sales data for its premium memberships for the first time. exposure which confirmed that the service’s revenue could reach $1.7 billion (roughly Rs. 14,091 crores) in 2023 after the company added AI tools to the platform.
