MacBook Pro 2016 non-Touch Bar variant starts selling in India
When we contacted some Apple resellers, they confirmed stock availability. But the Mumbai retailer said they have not received the units yet. The 2016 MacBook Pro is not listed on any e-commerce website yet. So it seems the stock has just started arriving. Recall that the price of the 13-inch MacBook Pro variant without touch bar is Rs 1,29,900.
The new MacBook Pro is much lighter and thinner than its previous variant. And it has a high speed Intel Skylake CPU. The Touch Bar variant has an OLED display in place of the function buttons and shows information related to the current application and context. The Touch Bar variant has an integrated Touch ID sensor, which apart from unlocking the laptop, can also make payments through Apple Pay.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro, which comes with function buttons, does not have a Touch ID sensor or OLED panel. The base model is powered by a 2.0 GHz Intel 6th Generation ‘Skylake’ Core i5 dual-core processor. There is 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256 GB storage. The 13-inch model has an integrated Intel Iris Graphics 540. This laptop has Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.2 support. It has a 13.3 inch Retina (2560×1600 pixels) LED backlit display which is equipped with IPS technology. The density of the screen is 227 PPI. For connectivity, it has a 3.5 mm audio jack and Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) port.
Let us tell you that only the variant without touch bar is being sold in India. And the variant with Touch Bar is yet to arrive in the Indian market. The price of 13 inch variant is Rs 1,55,900 and the price of 15 inch variant is Rs 2,05,900.
