Maruti Suzuki has launched its first battery electric vehicle (BEV) Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 being held at Pragati Maidan today. The new electric car offers a range of 500 km on a single charge. Coming as a premium electric SUV, e VITARA has been designed with innovation, comfort and strength. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is built on the all-new HEARTECT-e platform. The company has given two battery options in this electric car, 49kWh and 61kWh, which provide power to the high efficiency motor. The e Vitara offers the option of three drive modes Eco, Normal and Sports. Talking about range, the 61kWh variant offers a driving range of more than 500 km on a single charge. Its bold design, advanced features and comprehensive electric eco solutions aim to bring new options to the EV market in India and globally. It has a unique regenerative braking system for better safety.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags and an energy-absorbing battery structure for safety and technology.
