NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory Keeps tracking asteroids continuously. According to JPL, asteroid 2023 JD is going to pass close to the Earth today. It will pass very close to the Earth, the distance of which is said to be 1,320,000 kilometers. The size of the asteroid is 52 feet, which is as big as a big house. This rocky sphere is moving towards the earth today. Its speed is said to be 34,889 kilometers per hour.

Apart from this, an asteroid will again pass close to the Earth after two days. This asteroid is approximately three times larger than 2023 JD. This means that this asteroid can prove to be much more dangerous. Its name is 2023 HT4 which is 250 feet in size. It is going to pass through the Earth on May 12. According to NASA, if an asteroid larger than 150 feet comes near the Earth, it can be very dangerous.

It is said about asteroids that the chances of them colliding with the Earth are very less. But sometimes it is said that small asteroids can enter the Earth’s atmosphere. The size of an asteroid can range from 50 feet to 550 feet. In such a situation, sometimes these asteroids can bring with them a big danger.
