Mg Motor Getting Strong Response for Windsor Ev, 200 Bookings Per Day, Tesla

Electric vehicles (EV) sales have increased rapidly in the last few years in the country. MG Motor’s share in this market is increasing. Windsor EV, launched in September last year, is getting good response from customers. It is the best selling EV in the country for four consecutive months.

A media Report The company has been quoted as saying that the manufacturing of this electric crossover has exceeded 15,000 units. It is being manufactured in MG Motor’s Halol factory in Gujarat. The company has said that it is getting around 200 bookings per day for Windsor EV. To fulfill its increasing demand, the company has prepared to increase the capacity of its factory. “We are happy with the response received by MG Motor’s Deputy Managing Director, Biju Balendran. We are grateful to our customers who have helped us to deliver more than 15,000 units to its manufacturing.”

Recently, the price of this electric crossover was increased by about Rs 50,000. The company’s portfolio of the company’s electric vehicles also includes COMET EV and ZS EV. MG Motor also plans to launch some new models in the EV segment. Windsor EV prices have increased from Rs 13,99,800 to Rs 15,99,800 (ex-showroom). The company is providing eight years or 1,60,000 km warranty on this electric crossover battery. On Dussehra last year, the company started delivery to the customers of Windsor EV. It has LED lights connected to both front and rear.

Windsor EV has a sedan comfort and SUV -like space. It has been made available in three variants – Excite, Exclusive and Essence. This electric crossover is compete with Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Motors’ Nexon Ev. Its front is the Mg logo below the LED DRL strip connected to its front. It has a charging port on the front left fender. It has been made available in four colors – Pearl White, Clay Beige, Turquoise Green and Starburst Black. This is the first EV for which the option of battery as a service is given. With this option, the initial price of Windsor EV will decrease. However, it will have to pay an additional battery rental of Rs 3.5 per km.
