MG Motor Increases Price of Hector SUV

It competes with Hyundai’s Creta, Kia’s Seltos and Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara. The price of Hector and Hector Plus has been increased by Rs 40,000. before this company had increased its prices in August. This is the company’s best-selling model in the country. The price of the six-seat version of Hector Plus has increased from Rs 20.45 lakh to Rs 20.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The company relaunched Hector and Hector Plus with a new front design at this year’s Auto Expo. It has a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and ADAS Level 2 technology.
However, there was no change in its engine. Hector is available with 1.5 liter petrol, 1.5 liter petrol hybrid and 2.0 liter diesel engine. It has six speed manual and automatic gearbox options. The sales of the company’s ZS EV are also increasing rapidly. A few months ago, MG Motor received an order for 500 units from EV ride sharing platform BluSmart Mobility. This electric car will be included in the fleet of BluSmart Mobility in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru.
This electric car is available in two variants, Excite and Exclusive and are priced at Rs 23,38,000 and Rs 27,29,800 respectively. With this, six charging options are available like DC super fast chargers, AC fast chargers and portable chargers. The company is also offering free installation of the charger at home or office for ZS EV customers. MG Motor claims that the ZS EV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds. It comes with a battery pack of 50.3 kWh capacity, which is coupled with a permanent magnetic synchronous motor. This powertrain gives the car a power of 174 bhp. The company’s sales have increased rapidly in the last few months.
