Mg Motor Increasing Its Sales in Ev Market, Windsor Ev Makes Record of Selling 20,000 Units in 6 Months of Launch

MG Motor’s share in the market of electric vehicles (EV) has increased rapidly in the last few months. The company has a large stake in EV Sales of Windsor EV. This has become the first EV to achieve sales of 20,000 units within six months of launch. The company has said that Windsor EV is getting good response in metro cities as well as some other cities.

MG Motor says that customers like Windsor Ev design, tech features and more space cabin. Windsor EV has been made available in three variants. Its prices are between about Rs 14 lakh to about Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). EV portfolio of Mg Motor includes ComeT EV, Windsor EV and ZS EV. The manufacturing of this electric crossover is being done in the Halol factory of MG Motor in Gujarat. Recently, the company had told that it is getting around 200 bookings per day for Windsor EV. To fulfill its increasing demand, the company has prepared to increase the capacity of its factory. Tata Motors have the highest stake in EV market.

Recently, the price of this electric crossover was increased by about Rs 50,000. The company is providing eight years or 1,60,000 km warranty on this electric crossover battery. On Dussehra last year, the company started delivery to the customers of Windsor EV. It has LED lights connected to both front and rear.

Windsor EV has a sedan comfort and SUV -like space. This electric crossover is compete with Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Motors’ Nexon Ev. Its front is the Mg logo below the LED DRL strip connected to its front. It has a charging port on the front left fender. It has been made available in four colors – Pearl White, Clay Beige, Turquoise Green and Starburst Black. This is the first EV for which the option of battery as a service is available. With this option, the initial price of Windsor EV will decrease. However, it will have to pay an additional battery rental per kilometer.
