Along with constant notifications, many users have also reported pop-ups, and it seems Goldstein’s case is one such example.
Pop-ups without the option to dismiss were spotted on many Windows PCs some time back and Microsoft had to shut it down after negative feedback from users.
Microsoft had said on its blog that before activating Windows 10, the company sends notifications to the user at least twice. Apart from this, users can reverse the install and go back to the old software within 31 days.
This month, Microsoft had announced that Windows 10 OS is activated on 300 million devices worldwide.
